In Kham, religious has had great impact on the lives of the people since earliest time. Pilgrimage is as important here, when Buddhism was established in 8th century, Padmasambhaava wondered throughout the eastern Tibet, and he is reputed to have concealed his teaching in many parts of Kham, Amdo and central Tibet.
