Saga Dawa Festival It is handed down that Buddha was born, became enlightened and died at the same day. Therefore in Tibet, Saga Dawa is a unique religious day. In this month many kinds of activity will be hold to commemorate. In that day, nearly all the people of Lhasa go out of home. They centered the outer wall of Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace and prey. The entire Lhasa is full of smoke of incenses perfume. Saga Dawa festival is the most characteristic holiday.
